Today I read an article on foxnews.com about a South Carolina man kicking down a door and getting shot by the homeowner within the home. The intruder named Dakota Hester had assaulted the homeowner's wife and tried to put his hands on him. Hester now is an critical condition on Saturday after being shot multiple times. I feel that he deserved it because that's home invasion and the homeowner was defending his home because it was all in self defense against the intruder(http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/03/10/south-carolina-sheriff-man-kicked-in-door-shot-by-homeowner/?intcmp=obinsite). Hester didn't have a right to break into his home because its wrong for him to do that in the first place.

New York Woman Holding Baby Falls 8 Stories

Today I read an article on www.foxnews.com about a New York woman committing suicide by jumping down 8 stories while she was holding a baby written by foxnews.com(http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/03/14/police-ny-woman-holding-her-baby-falls-8-stories-to-her-death-in-apparent/). Her name was Cynthia Wachenheim and her age is 45 years old and her baby is 10 months. According to the Associated Press she had written a note stating that she knew what she was doing is evil and she was concerned about her baby's development. Her husband had said that they look like a happy normal family and he didn't think that any thing was wrong with her. As she was falling the baby was crying and she was screaming. After the fall the baby had bounced off her chest faced down. I feel that its tragic to hear that and she should have sought out for some help instead of committing suicide because killing yourself is not worth it and you have a lot to live for.

I read an article today on foxnews.com about a teacher getting fired after letting her kindergarten  students taste her blood in Sola,Norway. The wire service claims that about a dozen student that are in kindergarten attending the school had probably sample her blood after she brought a vial for show and tell. The children had asked her can they touch it and she gave them permission to do it. Then another student asked her how to get it off and she put her finger in her mouth and the children followed her example. The teacher is now being tested for HIV and AIDS. I think that it was wrong for the teacher to have that as show and tell because its disgusting and sick. 

Chicago Woman Charged For Bitting Off Boyfriend's Tongue

I read an article on foxnews about a woman that lives in Chicago being charged with aggravated domestic battery written by MyFoxChicago.com. A 51 year old named Elaine Cook and her boyfriend went to dinner for Valentine's Day. As the evening ended the couple had started arguing and her boyfriend had leaned over to kiss her to smooth things over. Her boyfriend claims that it worked when it first happened but this time it didn't worked. Cook had bitten down and severed a large portion of his tongue and toss it in a cabinet. Her boyfriend had put his tongue in a package of ice and was taken to the hospital to have his tongue reattach but the doctors couldn't do it because of the blood supply. I think that was unnecessary for Cook to do it to her boyfriend because she could have went a different route about it.

French Mother Arrested

I read an article on foxnews.com about a French mother being arrested for slitting the throats of her three children written by foxnews.com(www.foxnews.com/world/2013/02/22/french-mother-arrested-for-slitting-throats-her-3-children/). According to Sky News two of the children who are 9 and 11 years old had died of multiple stab wounds and their 17 year old brother was still alive at the emergency room but he was pronounced dead from. The father of the three children whose a doctor discovered the scene when he had returned home from work in the morning. He was in shock. The authorities had stated that "the children had their throats slit but still waiting on the report". The police is now on a hunt for the mother that killed her three children and the investigators said that the couple have martial problems. In my opinion I think that it was wrong for the mother to do that to her own children and she be charged with murder. 

Today I read an article on fox news.com about a mother named Katie Stockton pleading guilty for leaving baby to die on the road written by the Associated Press of fox news. Katie was questioned awhile back for Baby Crystal death in December 2004 when the newborn's remains were discovered in a plastic bag upon a dead road near her parents' house. Even though the authorities had did a DNA test stating that Stockton was the mother of the two infants she was not charged for those deaths. In my opinion, I feel this is injustice and the mother should spend some time in jail for child endangerment because its child abuse and children should be kept with there parents at all times. If she didn't want her kids she should have given her children up for adoption.

Florida Man Gives 2month Old Daughter Bleach For Congestion

I read an article on foxnews.com about a Florida man named Carron Washington whose a pre-med student is charged with child abuse because he was giving his two month old daughter bleach to relieve her congestion written by foxnews. Washington claims that Caelynn was born with her esophagus not completely connected to her stomach. He had that using bleach will help clear airways from a friend at school. The mother ran in the room because she heard heard her baby's loud screaming and patted her on her back when the baby had vomit, then she smelled bleach. The couple had 911 and rushed Caelynn to the hospital. According to the police Washington had originally lied about putting bleach in the bottle. Caelynn is now in good condition and is expected to come home within a few days. In my opinion Washington should be able to went a different route about it instead of using bleach to clear the airways.

Today I read an article on  fox news.com http://www.foxnews.com/health/2013/02/12/woman-dies-from-drinking-10-liters-coke-day-coroner-says/?intcmp=obnetworkabout a mother in New Zealand dying from drinking 10 liters of Coca-Cola per day written by foxnews.com. The name of the woman is Natasha Harris who had went into cardiac arrest on February 2010 and died at age 30. When she had died a pathologist had notice that she had hypokalemia or lack of potassium in the blood. According to her family said that she was addicted to soda and that if she didn't get her fix she would start shaking then eventually her teeth were removed because of sugar decay. One of Harris's kids was born without enamel on his or her teeth because of their mother's addiction. The continuation of intake of Coca-Cola causes cardiac arrhythmia which means the heart beats too fast or too slow. Coroner David Crerar had said drinking too much soda is two pounds of sugar and 970 milligram of caffeine. In my opinion, I feel that drinking too much soda drinks is not good for you because it can cause you to have diabetes and possibly high blood pressure but if you minimize your take-in of soda you should be okay health wise.

Today I read an article foxnews.com about a toddler dying after his grandma accidentally gave him a water bottle full of cleaning solution written by the Associated Press of fox news. The toddler was very thirsty and his grandmother had found a bottle in her husband truck and she thought that it was water inside the bottle. The grandma had realize that he had ingested the cleaning fluid when he had started choking. After he was choking he was rushed to the hospital when he was pronounced dead. The officials had said it was a tragic accident. In my opinion, I think that his grandma should have double check to make sure that it was water in the bottle and let the boy old it.

2 Los Angeles students lose fingers

I read an article today on foxnews.com about two Los Angeles students losing there fingers during lunchtime tug war game. The students were playing the game because it was apart of their spirit week at their high school.The students were identify as a male and female senior football players according to the reports. After the incident the students were taken to Los Angeles County-USC Medical where they are getting their fingers attached by surgeons and both of them had lost a finger. The hospital spokeswoman named Rosa Sacca had told the press that the students are in condition and their parents are beside them. For example, in 2008 a girl from Minnesota girl has lost four of her fingers at a game and Taiwan.

I read an article today on foxnews.com about a 9 year old girl in Mexico giving birth to baby girl and says the teenage father is 17 years old written by the Associated Press of foxnews.com. The 17 year old boy hasn't been seen in the neighborhood and authorities claim if his paternity is proven he will be charged with child abuse. I feel that whom ever the father of the child is probably scared and doesn't want to face the facts that he is a father and to me I think its the cowardly way to get out of things especially when you know you are going to be a parent pretty soon. Also if he knew he wasn't ready to be a father what was the point of doing what he did to her. Not only that but it was wrong for the 17 year old boy to date and have interest in a 9 year old girl and he should be arrested not only for child abuse but also rape charges because she was not of age to date him.

Today I read an article on foxnews.com about South Americans demanding action after gang raping a teenager written by the Associated Press. They had sliced open from her stomach to her genitals and left her body at a construction site. The African nation has the highest rate of rapes from babies to young girls. The 75% first time that anyone was raped was a teenager. A couple of village boys in South Africa had gang raped a mentally ill 17 year old girl who has a mind of a 4 year old. The South Africans were outraged over the incident. Also in South Africa a mother of a 11 year old girl was raped by her father and the court had told her that her husband had no right to touch a little girl unless he had her. The officials were very upset with the excuse the court has made. In my opinion, I feel that the African nation needs to do better with laws and prosecutions because the high rate of rape is really getting out of control. Plus the court officials need to stop letting them go free and giving them a pass and put the rapists in jail for rape before it starts getting out of hand.

Today I read a story on fox news.com about an Texas sex offender recording cheerleaders at cheerleading competition in San Antonio written by Associated Press of fox news.com. A 60 year old man who is a registered as a sex offender named Andrew Sanchez was charged with improper photography. His bond set is for $75,000. I feel that it was wrong for him video tape them and it was wrong for him to do that and it was rude. Plus he should have been supervised by a security guard that none of this would have happened.

Today I read an article on fox news.com by fox news.com about a family suing Disneyland because of the alleged rabbit of being a racist. A 6 year old boy named Jason Black Jr. tried to give the rabbit a hug and the rabbit had turned away from him and when he tried to hold its hand the employee inside the costume hand pushes his hand away from him. Jason and his family were observing the rabbit hugging two white kids and the family felt discriminated as they were watching the rabbit. The family had filed a report to the Disney about the employee and demands an apology from the treatment they were given. I feel that it was wrong for the employee in the rabbit costume to treat people of different races differently than other races because I believe that everyone should be treated with respect no matter what color of their skin is.    

Today I read an article on fox news.com about a man from Ohio named Domonic Gaines had posted a picture of himself and his baby daughter with a BB gun in his hand written by Fox News.com. The 22 year old man is now facing child endangerment charges but he claims that he was just playing around at his nephew's house and his brother had took a picture of him holding the gun and Domonic's ex-wife had gotten a hold of the picture and reported the picture to the authorities. In my opinion, I feel that it was unnecessary for his ex wife about the picture and she should have asked him what he was doing in the picture with the gun in hand.

Yesterday I read an article on a missing 13 year old girl that was found dead in California Park written by the Associated Press of  Fox News. This article is about a missing 13 year old girl that was found dead in the Northern part of California. The 13 year girl was reported missing on Thursday. A couple of days after the body was recovered an autopsy was performed and there were not any signs of trauma and the officials are refusing to release the results. The detectives are now confiscating the cameras for their investigation. In my opinion, I feel that the person that had murdered her had probably snapped her or shot her and the murder is possibly still on the loose and left town. Also I believe that the officials should give out the results so that way everyone would know to watch out for the killer because he or she is on the loose.

Guns Protecting People

Guns being owned is a good way to protect yourself from any harm that might come your way. For example, if someone breaks into your home and you have very little time to call the police. The criminal all of a sudden pulls out a gun and threatens to kill you with it and the police still did not show up to help you. What should you do?  You should quickly find your gun, take off the safety lock, and shoot the criminal before the criminal gets a chance to shoot you. Two years ago in Texas a man dressed like Santa Claus had broke into a family home and kill an entire family before turning a gun on himself. The age range of the victims were 18 to 60 years old at the time of their murder(http://www.wxyz.com/dpp/news/region/oakland_county/troy-police-arrest-santa-claus-in-home-invasion).

 Hearing A Shooting Next Door And How To Handle It
 If anyone hears a gun shot next door they should help them bringing their own gun along with an extra pack of bullets just in case you run out. Third example, that happened on November 26, 2012 a man that lives in Minnesota had killed two teens for breaking into his home and now charged with murder(http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2012/11/26/15458995-minnesota-man-who-killed-teens-in-break-in-charged-with-murder?lite). In my opinion, I feel that guns don't kill people and people kill people because in order for a gun to kill someone the gun need someone to control it and a gun can't kill anyone just by laying down on the ground a gun needs an operator in order for it to work. People now use guns for committing crimes instead of using guns for emergencies when they are in trouble. The man that killed the two teens should had never shot them in the head but, if he was going to shoot them he should have shot them in the leg or either the arm so he will not be charged with murder. These are the top reasons why I personally believe that guns are a good way to protect yourself from harms way and not use a gun just to commit violent crimes.

For Gun Laws vs. Against Gun Laws

Guns can protect people if it is used at the time of need and trouble. A lot of people are now using gun for excitement and to see some else die instead of using it when they are being attacked by a criminal in their homes or either the streets. If people were to use guns just for protection only the crime rate will eventually decrease because by having guns for protection criminal will not bother you nor will try to break into your home. For the safety of children put a safety lock on your gun away from a child's reach. I have gotten this picture from Google images to symbolize the argument on gun control laws.

 After the shooting in Newtown, Connecticut according to Fox News President Obama is planning on banning certain types of weapons and the National Rifle Association are refusing any changes to the gun laws and they predicted that Congress will not pass a law restricting weapons. In certain states for example New York and Maryland have moved ahead towards more aggressive weapon control laws. I feel that guns should be allowed to those who have a gun license and the gun should have more than 7 rounds in the gun. The Second Amendment Second states that "we have right to bear arms" and we should have at least have 20 rounds. I have gotten this clip from fox news on Obama talking about the gun laws.
